Have you heard about the new TP to PR pathway? A limited-time pathway to permanent residency is available to temporary residents and their families. Under this new pathway, you may be able to apply for permanent residence if:
· You have recently graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution and/or have work experience in an essential occupation, such as health or health services, in Canada.
*Graduates and workers must be in Canada and working (with authorization) at the time of application, be proficient in one of Canada's official languages, and meet general admissibility requirements.
There are 6 streams and different requirements for each
· Workers in-Canada: Stream A (healthcare)
· Workers in-Canada: Stream B (essential non-healthcare)
· International Graduates
· French-speaking Workers in-Canada: Stream A (healthcare)
· French-speaking Workers in-Canada: Stream B (essential, non-healthcare)
· French-speaking International Graduates

It is important to gather all required documents once you have determined whether or not you qualify for this pathway in order to make sure the process goes smoothly.
In this pathway, police certificates are included in the document checklist. Include:
· The police certificates from every country you lived in for 6 months or more during the last 10 years
· Your family members' police certificates (who are 18 years or older) from every country they lived in for six months or more during the last 10 years
*You and your family members do not need to provide police certificates for time spent in Canada before you were 18 years old.
The processing time for obtaining your police certificate might be longer than you expect. F1 Fingerprint understands the importance of the PR process to you. We are happy to assist you in getting your police certificate quickly and conveniently.
If you and your family members are older than 18 years old and have lived in Canada for more than 6 months in a row, you and they will need a Canadian police certificate, also known as an RCMP certified police certificate. We will capture and submit your fingerprints directly to RCMP for you, and RCMP will process and issue your police certificate. They will then mail it back to you or your preferred third party. Processing time for the RCMP is three business days, followed by mailing time by Canada Post (two to three weeks).
If You and your family members over the age of 18 who have resided in the USA for at least 6 consecutive months, will need a police certificate from the FBI. At F1, we provide FBI fingerprinting cards (FD-258). We will capture your fingerprints digitally and print out the fingerprinting card (FD-258) for you. In order to obtain your FBI Police Certificate, you must mail the card with the other required documents to the FBI.
If In case you and family members over 18 years old have lived in another country for more than 6 months, you will need a police certificate from that country. For more information about obtaining a police certificate from any country, please visit this link:
Obtaining a police certificate requires fingerprinting cards in many countries. There are many countries that accept the Canadian Standard Fingerprinting Card (C216C). F1 also captures your fingerprints digitally and prints them out on the C216C card. To obtain your police certificate, you will mail the card with other documents to that particular country. We also have you covered if that country does not accept C216C forms. We can do actual ink on their card once you obtain their fingerprint card and instructions from them.
