Individuals who wish to be licensed as an immigration consultant in Canada must go through an exam with Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and obtain a police certificate.

When do you need Fingerprinting for Immigration Consultant? 

To become an immigration consultant, the candidate must prove good character and conduct by having no convictions in Canada and/or abroad. Police certificates are required for all countries that the applicant has resided for more than 6 months while they are over the age of 18. This process ensures that candidates possess the necessary knowledge and skills, thereby enhancing the integrity and professionalism of the industry. 

 

Process of taking fingerprints for Immigration Consultant 

When you’re with F1 FINGERPRINTING (FRONTIER ONE INC.), we will submit your fingerprints to the RCMP on your behalf. The RCMP will be responsible for conducting the background check and issuing PCC (Police Check Certificates). The PCC will be sent to your provided mailing address. 

 

To get your fingerprints taken, you'll need two pieces of identification (such as your passport/PR card and driver's license) and/or any request letter from ICCRC. Before you leave, we will provide you with the instructions on how to contact the RCMP regarding your application's status.
